About
The softness of the material, the colour of the pigment, the smell of oil and the effort to catch a moment of magic on canvas. With some coffee and a nice lunch. Freshly cut grass and laughter. Ice cream and the sounds of the sea. Flowers and trees. And that smile when you know something good happened in the hours spent with that one canvas, the paints and the brush.

Hi Joanne,
I do love painting and I wish I could paint all day every day, especially now in the summer when I’ve turned my balcony into my summer studio.
Thanks for stopping by and for posting my first blog comment. π
Hello, Barbara, thanks for following my blog! Looks like you have a very vibrant arts community (the studio tour sounds like fun!). I especially like your trees with the light coming through them!
